We let Emmy stay up later than usual. After we watched a show on tv,
it was time for her story then lights out.
It was Bryant's turn to put her to bed. He turned to her, asked her if she wanted to go read a book and Emmy excitedly raced back to her room to await her storytime.
She loves books.
Bryant followed behind her and by the time he got to her room, he found her kneeling at her bedside with her arms folded, ready to say her prayers. Thankfully, Bryant called me back there as soon as he saw her and I got to witness the sweet scene as well.
Our kids sure know how to make our hearts melt.
