day 25: post-thanksgiving family day

The weather was beautiful today. To more fully enjoy it, we went to Skinner Butte Park to enjoy some time together as a family. There were a lot of families there enjoying time together. I loved sitting on the bench watching all of the families interact.

Emmy played on the swings and playground; we went down by the river, but were unable to find any rocks to throw in because of the massive amount of wet leaves covering the ground; we sat on a bench in the sunshine and watched the cyclists/joggers/walkers burning any extra calories they may have taken in the day prior; decided to get a little exercise ourselves and ran around with Emmy. Then we went to the top of the summit and enjoyed the beautiful view of Eugene. And we ended our outing getting a few slices of ny pizza.

It was the perfect post-Thanksgiving family day.
